Then a university student at Virginia Tech, our co-founder and CEO Matt Jordan booked his first short term stay in 2013 during a road trip to Florida. That expereince stayed with Matt. Then after a backpacking trip through Southeast Asia, Matt started a coliving company in New York. The idea of building community while making housing easier was intriguing. A few years later, he would move to Texas and build what is Weave today.
