For anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience first up is Rebelle, the finest seafood restaurant in San Antonio. It is located in the Historic St. Anthony Hotel, this place sleek design and stylish decor sets the tone for what is sure to be an unforgettable meal.
Rebelle offers a unique sharing style and personal platter experience of overnight-shipped coastal seafood. The menu here is a true work of art because it features a creative and innovative selection of dishes that are both visually stunning and delicious; they focus on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients which are evident in every dish, plus the attention to detail totally left me stunned. It’s no wonder they were awarded Best New Restaurant by Pat Sharpe of Texas Monthly and are in the Top 10 Best New Restaurants on the San Antonio Magazine.
We totally recommend you try the Texas Wagyu Beef Tartare perfectly seasoned which is served with crispy potato chips and a tangy mustard sauce. Another must-try dish is the Grilled Octopus, served with chorizo vinaigrette and crispy potatoes or either their Short Rib Rag or Red Pepper Spiced Goat Shank.
For a happy ending Chocolate Mousse and the Lemon Tart that are both beautiful and delicious options to try out. They also have an extensive wine list, with a great selection of both domestic and international options to choose from.
Last but not least, something that you’ll realize by being here is that what sets Rebelle apart from other restaurants in the area is the exceptional service. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and super attentive. They do go above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

This is one of my favourites! The Guenther House in 205 E Guenther St, a charming and historic establishment which from the moment you walk in you are greeted and welcomed with hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Before we go to the food is I have to tell you about how amazing this building is, it transports you back in time thanks to its stunning illustration of the 19th-century architecture, with red brick exterior and white trim and with high ceilings, intricate and elaborated moldings, and elegant furnishings on the inside.
Plus The Guenther House is not just a marvelous restaurant – it’s also a museum and a gift shop!
The museum is dedicated to the history of the Pioneer Flour Mills, which was founded by Carl Hilmar Guenther in the mid-1800s. Here (besides having delicious meals) you can learn about the process of making flour, see antique milling equipment, and learn a lot about all the history of the Guenther family.
The gift shop hss a wide variety of unique and charming souvenirs from locally made jams and jellies to handcrafted pottery and jewelry, so I´m totally sure you’ll find something that catches your eye to brighten up the day…
Now back to why we´re here today, another highlight of The Guenther House is the restaurant, which serves up delicious food that is perfect for any time of day. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic breakfast of eggs and bacon, a sandwich for lunch, or a dinner of steak or seafood, you’ll find it all right here where the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are simply divine.

I recently discovered this amazing Tex-Mex restaurant, which is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine and fresh seafood. First of all, their margaritas are out of this world, they are made with fresh-squeezed lime juice and high-quality tequila; but that is only the top of the iceberg. They have a killer cocktail menu for you to try out with friends or family.

Their signature dish is the baklava, and it’s seriously one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The layers of phyllo dough, honey, and nuts are just perfect, and it’s not too sweet, so you can enjoy it without feeling overwhelmed.
But that’s not all they have to offer! I also tried the French pastries that are just as amazing. I’m talking about croissants that are crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, and éclairs that are filled with the most delicious cream. And if you’re feeling adventurous, they have macarons in all sorts of flavors that will totally blow your mind, they´re the best I´ve ever had.
This is a true San Antonio classic that has been serving up delicious steaks and hearty meals for over 50 years and is both perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion. Is famous for its steaks, they give a classic steakhouse experience.
The number one plate is the Chicken Fried Steak fried to perfection and served with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. For a healthy and lighter option they have the Grilled Chicken Salad topped with grilled chicken, cheese, and bacon, and it’s served with a side of ranch dressing.
The atmosphere at Little Red Barn is casual and laid-back, making it the perfect spot for a fun night out with friends.
To my surprise the prices were very reasonable for its large portions so if you´re truly hungry then this is the place to be.
Now if you´re just looking for a place to have a quick and sweet little something, Amigos Snacks and More is the answer. Is a colorful and lively place to hang out with friends or for a fun Sunday evening with your family. They have a wide variety of snacks and tasty treats that will satisfy ANY craving.
From fresh fruit cups to churros and nachos, there’s something for everyone at Amigos Snacks and More. Some of their client´s favorites are definitely the tasty options of ice creams. If you haven´t found your ice cream soulmate, I can guarantee you, it might be here.
Another best seller is their elote, a Mexican street corn dish that’s smothered in mayo, cheese, and chili powder. I know it might sound messy, but oh it is so worth it! At first I was hesitant about tasting it but my brother convinced me and it’s the best decision i’ve taken in my life so far.
Not only great food also the staff at Amigos Snacks and More are friendly and welcoming, you totally feel like everyone is your friend and we´re all just here laughing, tasting ice cream and enjoying our time; that’s why it makes it the spot to grab a quick bite with your closest friends.
Switching to a more upscale dining experience, let’s talk about Cuishe Cocina Mexicana; the place to rediscover Mexican cuisine because it offers a modern twist on it, with dishes like ceviche, tacos, and mole enchiladas which are one of the standout dishes, their made with tender shredded chicken wrapped in soft corn tortillas and smothered in a rich and complex exquisite mole sauce: is made with a blend of spices, nuts, and chocolate, giving it a deep and satisfying flavor that’s unlike anything else. The dish is finished off with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a dollop of tangy crema. The presentation of the dish is beautiful, with each enchilada carefully arranged on the plate. Just by looking at it you know you´re going to have the time of your life.
If you dont like enchiladas or if you ́re like me, always wondering what to pick from the menu the staff at Cuishe Cocina Mexicana are more than kind. They´re knowledgeable and passionate about the food they serve, and they’re happy to recommend dishes and drinks that pair well together, they know what they´re doing. Lastly the decor is chic, cozy and sophisticated, with a calm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a date night or special occasion. They have a ceiling filled with beautiful plants and a marvelous Agave plant painting on one of their walls. From the moment you walk their fancy and exquisite atmosphere enlightens you. They have both outside and inside dining with beautiful (and comfortable) seats. This place is the right choice for a special occasion or romantic dinner with your perfect person.
Their seared scallops are the most popular dish, with plump and juicy scallops cooked to perfection and served with a creamy cauliflower puree, crispy bacon, and tangy pickled onions. The dish is finished off with some fresh herbs on top and a drizzle of brown butter with an exotic and delicious flavor. The presentation of the dish is beautiful, with each scallop arranged on the plate like a work of art. The flavors are sophisticated and complex, with a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and tangy.
The staff at Bliss are attentive and truly professional, making this a great spot for a special occasion or romantic dinner. My evening there was nothing but a pleasure, I totally say you can not leave San Antonio without a taste of Bliss…

Is smoky and flavorful, with a crispy bark on the outside and a melt-in-your-mouth texture on the inside, it was so good! The dish is served with classic barbecue sides: a magnificent mac and cheese, coleslaw, and yummy baked beans. This dish is perfect for lunch or dinner, and pairs well with a cold beer, they have many to choose from.
This place is perfect for a taste of classic New York-style and is ideal to hang out with your friends.
